"Gate One" Restaurant at the Hannover Airport Truck Stop

(Addendum to the Terms and Conditions of the “Gate One” Bistro)

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, deliveries, and services between the restaurant Gate One, owner: Mundt GmbH Hannover, hereinafter referred to as “Gate One,” and its guests or customers.

By entering the restaurant, ordering food and beverages, and using services, the guest accepts these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Hours of Operation

The restaurant generally has the following opening hours:

Daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We reserve the right to change opening hours, for example due to events, holidays, maintenance work, or force majeure. These changes will be announced in the restaurant or online whenever possible.

 

3. Self-Service Restaurant / Conclusion of Contract

The restaurant is operated as a self-service restaurant (SB restaurant).

The contract for the purchase of food and beverages is concluded as soon as the guest places an order and the restaurant accepts it.

Food is served after successful payment.

 

4. Prices

All prices listed are in euros (€) and include the applicable value-added tax.

The current price list or the prices on the restaurant menu apply.

Prices are subject to change.

 

5. Payment Terms

Since this is a self-service restaurant, payment is generally due before the service is provided, i.e., before food and beverages are served.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash
  • EC card / debit card
  • Credit card

There is no entitlement to a specific payment method.

 

6. Reservations

Reservations are generally possible.

Reservations can be made via:

  • by phone
  • online (if available)
  • in person at the restaurant

A reservation is not binding until it has been confirmed by the restaurant.

The restaurant reserves the right to hold reserved tables for a maximum of 15 minutes after the agreed time. After that, the table may be assigned to another party.

For group reservations, a separate arrangement may be made.

 

7. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates issued by the restaurant are subject to the following conditions:

  • Vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance, in accordance with statutory limitation periods.
  • Cash redemption of the voucher value is strictly prohibited.
  • Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced.
  • Any remaining balance remains valid until the expiration date.

 

8. Conduct in the Restaurant

All guests are asked to behave respectfully toward other guests and the staff.

The restaurant reserves the right to ask guests to leave, particularly if:

  • other guests are harassed
  • staff are insulted or threatened
  • house rules are violated
  • property is damaged

 

9. Outside Food and Beverages

Consuming food and beverages brought from outside in the restaurant is generally not permitted unless expressly authorized by the restaurant.

 

10. Liability

The restaurant is liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

No liability is assumed for guests’ personal belongings, unless there is intentional or grossly negligent conduct on the part of the restaurant.

 

11. Allergens and Food Information

Information on allergens and additives is available in the restaurant.

Despite the utmost care, the presence of traces of certain allergens cannot be ruled out.

Guests with allergies or food intolerances are asked to inform the staff before ordering.

 

12. Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, power outages, government orders), the restaurant may limit services or temporarily suspend operations.

There is no entitlement to compensation in such cases.

 

13. Data Protection

Personal data is processed exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Further information can be found in the Autohof Hannover Airport Privacy Policy.

 

14. Final Provisions

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

The place of jurisdiction is—to the extent permitted by law—the restaurant’s place of business.
